BaaBaa Babies
Activities That Stimulate Little Minds, Exercise Little Bodies And Are Fun For All
Every child is different and therefore each child will learn at a different rate. The Alpha Babies Programme recognises that the learning experience is never one - size fits all, so encouraging a mixture of activities will make it easier to cater for most. With this programme we aim to achieve the love of language, music, books, stories,
self-confidence, and to have a great deal of fun, while supporting the Change4Life campagin... keeping our little ones active!
The EYFS covers six early learning goals. which the Alpha Babies program aims to meet through planned playtime activities. Playful phonics songs help children remember the sound each letter makes. Children are introduced to the alphabet through the Alphabet Song and hands-on play. We all know children learn so much through play, but did you know music plays just as an important role as playtime activities?
Countless research studies indicate that music aids the development of speech, social skills, confidence and self-expression. Music can also help with maths and reading skills.
Repetition and familiarity is important to this age group to encourage language development and communication. Movement around the room is encouraged and the use of interesting props and an increase in pace to the class help to hold the children’s attention.
